First Aid Response (FAR)
In-depth training for designated workplace first aiders with practical scenario integration and clear escalation standards.
Fenit trusted PHECC accredited first aid training provider supporting businesses, schools, sports clubs and organisations.
Fenit (Irish: An Fhianait) is a small harbour village in north Kerry, on the north side of Tralee Bay about 10 km west of Tralee. The 2022 census recorded a population of 619. The harbour operates as Ireland's most westerly commercial port, handling fishing, freight, and exports of Liebherr container cranes, alongside a 130-berth marina built in 1997. The 11.2 km Tralee–Fenit Greenway opened in October 2022. First aid training in Fenit needs to support the port, the marina, the greenway, and the small community that services the working harbour.
Local context: Fenit employers include the Fenit Harbour (commercial port), the marina, the Fenit Sailing Club, the greenway hospitality businesses, the Liebherr export operation, and the local primary school. Course scheduling typically focuses on the spring and autumn maintenance windows.
Course selection in Fenit should be based on role responsibilities, incident likelihood and existing internal capability. A primary consideration is whether your team needs full responder development, focused CPR confidence or integrated safety support that includes manual handling.
